1. Fossil Fuel Developments; will new sources of fossil fuel, fracking, or other novel extraction techniques, play a role in the transition? (Will increasing or declining prices of fossil fuels play a role?)

2. Alternative Energy Production Efficiency Challenges (Will the challenges of inefficient alternative energy sources slow the transition or will they be overcome?)

3. Will clean fossil fuels slow the adoption of alternative energy sources? (Will scrubbers and carbon capture, and other similar technologies, make fossil fuels less damaging to health and the environment?)

4. Will battery technology play a role? (Will battery technologies overcome the challenges of storing solar or wind-sourced energy rather than requiring complex infrastructure builds?)

5. Will more efficient consumer technologies impact the transition? (Could a decline in consumption change the world’s energy consumption patterns between now and 2050?)

6. Conclusion: Wrap up the main points and make your final argument.
