5. Develop a plan for how you will create your prototype/cook your test meal/design a detailed depiction of your space.
6. Find someone from one of your social networks who has worked in a similar business or an entrepreneur and ask them to share the three most important things that they wish they had known when they began work or started their own business.
7. Develop a list of competitors (companies that sell the same or similar product) near Wheaton (or a nearby suburb).
8. Develop a research plan. When will you visit the store or stores?
9. Develop a form for your research visit. Include a list of everything you want to find out about the business's shoppers and their shopping habits.
10. Design a logo for your company. Bring a physical copy or send a digital version of the logo.
